French School

This school garden began in 2021, when we built its first edible garden and 3-bin compost system. Since then, the garden and compost have been very well cared for by the school's landscape team, allowing the space to keep growing and stay productive year after year. In 2026, we returned for a second phase of construction. The edible garden area was expanded, nursery planters were added, and the 3-bin compost system was transformed into a composting chicken coop, a coop that doubles as a composting hub. The results are tangible: the school now regularly harvests eggs and compost, with careful records kept by the landscape team. It's a simple reminder that even a small school plot can become a living classroom, from soil to table.
